Okay, so who knows what a “Beta Launch” is? *pretty much everyone raises their hand* Lol. In the rare instance that your hand wasn’t raised, here’s some detail. A beta launch is when a product or more traditionally, when a piece of software is tested prior to it’s actual release to the “real world.” The idea is that it’s pretty decent as is, but it still needs some input. It’s not quite perfect “yet.” Apple does it pretty often when they’re releasing an update; they’re essentially getting feedback while it’s still “in Beta.” If you can get it as good as it gets prior to the actual launch to the majority of your consumers, that’s a win! Right? Right.

But here’s my thing. Every idea starts somewhere...from a dream during a deep sleep, a random thought in the shower, a funny phrase from your kid, etc. And many of us know, that idea will usually transform itself 100x before it becomes what it’s going to be. That said, if you never took the chance on that very small, initial idea, you may never find YOUR NICHE. So if Apple can launch in beta, so can I. So can you! Start that business, go on that date, buy that house. Do it! Life is a series of tests anyway, you might as well roll with it! A good friend of mine reminded me that if we’re waiting for something to be perfect, it’s the same as never doing it. So here I am...doing it! I’ve missed the sharing and releasing of blogging.
