Launching In Beta is Seeking Beta Testers
I wanna thread your brows! But we’ll get back to that (Lol)....
Hey Guysssss! Lol. Let me rewind and say how much I’ve missed my writing audience. Some of you have become some of my social media besties! If that wasn’t you, let me explain. About 7/8 years ago, my good good girlfriend (since middle school), came to me with a cool blog idea. We were both obsessed with entertainment news, so naturally it started with gossip. Lol. Eventually it grew into a lifestyle/women’s empowerment blog and an online radio show (this was before podcasts were a “thing thing”). After a little over 5 years, we decided it was time to move on to something else. She’s since started a really awesome podcast (be sure to check out FunTimeMoms) and I’ve had my hands in a few things...some that are still in the works, and others that, frankly, just didn’t pan out. Such is life right?
Before blogging with her, I considered myself a very private person. But it turns out, I wasn’t. I enjoyed being candid about my life’s experiences and hearing about yours. So I never stopped writing, the capacity however changes when you start writing for other people. So, I purchased my domain LaunchingInBeta.com a few months ago and let motherhood, life and other ventures keep me from actually “launching.”
This is oxymoronic though, being that my blog is all about launching even if it’s not “perfect.” It’s about being okay with a practice round (or 2, or 3). For example, Apple does “Beta Launches” for new updates, etc. They’re releasing the program to test it, to get the kinks out, and see how it works in real life, not just in their labs (or even how it’s “supposed to be” in their brains). Life is a series of tests anyway, and waiting on anything to be perfect is essentially, never starting. Because ultimately perfection doesn’t exist. That said, my blog is back. It’s officially launched today. You can count on 2 new posts per week (Monday and Wednesday) and every Thursday a throwback from my #SuperGorgeSingleGirl days.
Lastly, now that I’ve explained some, I’m looking for BETA TESTERS! Over the last two years, I’ve taken threading classes, lash classes, microblading classes and now I’m training to become an esthetician. I’ve been in love with eyebrows since I was about 12 years old. I’m also very recently into changing my eating habits and living an overall healthier lifestyle.
